DESCRIPTION:
The primary role of the Associate to the Executive Committee (Associate) is to provide assistance and support to the Executive Committee in various capacities, including the completion of ongoing weekly tasks or specific initiatives, events, or campaigns. Associates are responsible to the members of the Executive Committee but may be assigned to a specific portfolio (University Affairs, Campus Life, External, Equity, or Internal and Services). It is expected that the Associate regularly attend Commission meetings and actively participate in supporting the Union’s organisational priorities.
Duties may include, but are not limited to, administrative or financial tasks, record keeping, membership development, tabling for the Union, overseeing Union initiatives, liaising with university community groups, taking minutes at Commission and Committee meetings, and generally assisting the members of the Executive Committee with their responsibilities. Work hours fluctuate throughout the year and do not necessarily correspond with regular office hours. Successful candidates will be nominated by the Executive Committee.

DESCRIPTION
U.T.S.U. is seeking one individual to assist with the planning and implementation of the U.T.S.U. Orientation activities on the St. George campus. U.T.S.U. Orientation typically includes a clubs fair, parade, concert and after-party. The Junior Orientation Coordinator will assist with the logistical and administrative aspects of U.T.S.U. Orientation, as well as on-site event execution. The Junior Orientation Coordinator will report to the Clubs and Events Coordinator, and Orientation Coordinators, while working closely with other staff and executives of U.T.S.U., including the Vice-President Campus Life. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands on event planning and project management experience specific to U.T.S.U. Orientation programming.

DESCRIPTION:
The primary role of the Orientation Volunteer & Leader Coordinator will be to coordinate, organize and motivate a volunteer workforce prior to and during the U.T.S.U. Orientation. Duties will include recruiting, contacting and scheduling volunteers, assigning shifts, creating a volunteer/leader schedule for kit stuffing as well as Orientation Day, overseeing kit stuffing and coordinating leaders on U.T.S.U. Orientation Day. The Volunteer & Leader Coordinator will report to the Orientation Coordinators for frequent updates. Please note that this position is not an hourly waged position; instead, an honorarium will be provided at the end of the work term (to be negotiated).
