Transit Issues
In 2004 your Students' Union, along with others in the GTA, lobbied the Toronto Transit Commission to make the VIP discount Metropass plan permanent, as opposed to a temporary plan that could have been cancelled at any time.
Recently we were successful in convincing the TTC to offer a student Metropass price directly to students! This will be coming in September 2010 - we will post more information later in 2010 about how this will affect sales at U.T.S.U.
